Garden Party

I am a very impatient person. I can’t help it. I want to see the finished product or the results of something fast. So when we planted our gardens, I expected to have tomatoes growing the size of my head the next day. Not the case. It’s been a few months now and everyday (that I’m home and not traveling for work) I rush out to check the status of my herbs and veggies. There is oregano, basil, squash, thyme, eggplant, fresh lavender, etc…Anyway, they just recently started to grow and I am beyond thrilled – because at the end of the day, I just want to be like Barefoot Contessa after all.

Tomatoes on the vine.

Necklace from Neiman Marcus.

Vintage ring.

Cream lace cardigan – A great basic that works with (pretty much) anything.

ANYI LU ’Sophia’ Mary Janes - These were introduced to me by a publicist and I adore them. They are handmade in Italy and remind me of the Manolo Blahnik “urban shoe myth” Mary Janes in Sex & The City (I mean, they look identical…)

A bright yellow watering can makes keeping up with the gardening a little more fun.

LC Lauren Conrad dress.

Tom Ford lipstick in Coco Ravish.

Satin black belt – I like the idea of taking a feminine, sweet, daytime dress and pairing it with a darker, more formal belt.
